Looking back on 2023 My Streetscape Summer Research Institute: Where is Christopher Grullon now?

Our 2023 My Streetscape Summer Research Institute participants have exciting updates on their plans, and insightful reflections on the CS3 experience.

Christopher Grullon shared a lesson from CS3, his post-Columbia plans, and research interests:

“One lesson I keep from CS3 is that even though you may not be the best at something or you come into a situation that was completely unexpected from your original thinking, it is important to stand by your decision and make it through to the end as a sign of respect to those around you and most importantly yourself.

“This summer, I am mentoring students in the SHAPE Program.

“I like researching the components that make up engineering, such as math, physics, computer science, philosophy, and more. I want to understand how far the boundaries of engineering can be pushed with technology.”

At the CS3 Innovation Summit on April 16, 2024, Christopher Grullon pitched an early-stage company during the Accelerator Demo Day.
